Valoree L Bowen

Valoree L Bowen is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Nursing-Undergrad at The University of Texas at Arlington. With over 33 years in nursing, she focuses on holistic nursing practice and healthy lifestyle education. Her research explores the therapeutic applications of essential oils and stress management techniques.

Her current work includes implementing the pilot project "Reducing Stress Related to Injection Therapy" as part of her DNP Practicum. Teaching interests include foundational nursing education and mental health clinicals.

Awards include Sigma Theta Tau membership and recognition for her DNP project. She has advised students including Maxine Ramos and Laurie Peterson.
