Valeria Quaglia is a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) in Sociology at the University of Bologna's Department of Education Studies 'Giovanni Maria Bertin'. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research Methodology (2019) from the Universities of Turin and Milan, and a Sociology degree (2015) from the University of Turin.
Research Focus: Her work centers on the sociology of health and medicine, particularly aging, digital health, illness narratives, disability, and gender perspectives. She has contributed to projects analyzing health policies, community psychiatry, and conscientious objection in medical practice.
