Valentine M. Moghadam is a Professor of Sociology and International Affairs at Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). Her work focuses on globalization, development, social justice, and gender studies. She holds a PhD in Sociology from The American University (1986). Prior roles include Senior Research Fellow at UNU/WIDER (1990-95) and UNESCO (2004-06).
