Valentina Carbone is a Professor of Sustainability and Supply Chain Management at ESCP Business School’s Paris campus, serving as Scientific Director of the PhD Programme. Her work focuses on inter-organisational dynamics in global value chains, environmental/social sustainability challenges, and innovative models like the circular economy. She co-founded and co-directed the Chair on Circular Economy and leads the Sustainability Rethink specialization track and an online Sustainability Management course for MSc students. Additionally, she hosts a monthly French web show on environmental supply chain issues and serves on the Board of Directors for HOP, an NGO addressing planned obsolescence.
