Professor Paul Dewick is Professor of Sustainability and Faculty Research Director at Manchester Metropolitan University. His research examines innovation in sustainable consumption and production systems, with particular focus on circular economy implementation and supply chain sustainability.
Research explores:
- Environmental and social impacts of circular economy transitions
- Supply chain resilience during crises
- Financing mechanisms for sustainable production
Co-leads the Future Earth Working Group on Circular Economy and serves on the management team of the Knowledge Action Network on Systems of Sustainable Consumption and Production. Awarded Distinguished Achievement Teacher of the Year in 2015.
Supervised PhD students include research on corporate sustainability performance in Latin America and formalization processes in developing economies. Research funded by ESRC, EPSRC, and international collaborations.
