Valentin Jeutner is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law at Lund University, affiliated with the Faculty of Law. He serves as Director of the Master Programme in International Human Rights Law and is a member of the LU Profile Area: Human Rights. His research focuses on foundational principles of international law, exploring intersections with philosophy, theology, natural sciences, and art. He teaches Public International Law, Legal Philosophy, and Law & Technology. Jeutner holds advanced degrees including PhDs in Law (Cambridge) and Theology (Münster), and has served as an advisor to the Merkel Administration in Berlin. He actively participates in academic networks like the Öresund International Law Workshop and contributes to journals such as the Cambridge International Law Journal and Nordic Journal of International Law.
