Vahan Sargsyan is an Artist Lecturer in collaborative piano and chamber music at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music. He holds an alumni status from the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia, where he studied under Elza Tandilyan and his father, renowned pianist Villi Sargsyan. As a laureate of the International Piano Competition in Rio-de-Janeiro and a frequent Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performer, his career spans solo and chamber music performances across Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Russia, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, the USA, and Canada. His recordings are released by Alanna Records, Aerophon, Ablaze, and Suzuki labels. Beyond performance, Sargsyan actively engages in teaching and collaborative projects.
