V G Venkatesh is a Professor of Supply Chain Management and Logistics at EM Normandie Business School, France, and serves as Vice Dean for Global Faculty Engagement. He holds a PhD in Global Sourcing and Sustainability from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. With over 23 years of international experience, his research focuses on supply chain sustainability, blockchain applications, circular economy, and disaster relief operations. He has published extensively in top-tier journals like Annals of Operations Research and International Journal of Production Research.
Key affiliations include roles as Area Editor for Operations Management and Research (OMRA) and Editorial Board member of ABS-4* journals. His professional awards include Waikato University International Fellowship and Erasmus Teaching Fellowship. Venkatesh is actively involved in industry partnerships, including advisory roles with NextPort (LATAM), and contributes to global initiatives like the #ThinkAmplifyList by the University of Bath. His work bridges academic research with practical applications in supply chain resilience, digital transformation, and sustainable practices.
