Uwe Tresp

Dr. Uwe Tresp is a researcher at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), affiliated with the Faculty 09 Historical Seminar and Department of Medieval History. He has held research associate positions at multiple institutions since 2002, including the Humanities Centre for the History and Culture of East Central Europe (GWZO), University of Münster, University of Potsdam, and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

Dr. Tresp is active in historical commissions, including the Historical Commission of Berlin, Brandenburg Historical Commission, and the Historical Commission for the Bohemian Lands. He currently works on DFG-funded projects analyzing Emperor Sigismund's reign and territorial dynamics in the Holy Roman Empire.
