Uwe Holzhammer

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Holzhammer is the Director of the ForTraNN Sustainability Research and Transfer Centre at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) since May 2022. Since the winter semester of 2016/17, he has served as a Research Professor of Energy Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Sustainable Infrastructure. His work focuses on system analyses for sustainable energy development, sector coupling (electricity, heat, mobility), renewable energy markets, and grid-resilient energy systems.

• Security of supply through holistic planning
• Power-to-Cool and electromobility integration
