Usman Moonisah is a Lecturer in the Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation at the University of Westminster, with a dual focus on Biomedical Sciences and pedagogical innovation. He holds a First Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences (University of Westminster, 2014) and a PhD investigating the link between childhood obesity and cancer (2016-2019). His research combines genomic health biomarkers with anti-racist curriculum design.
Teaching roles include Module Leader for Critical Thinking for Academic Development and Power & Public Health Challenges. He pioneered the Students as Co-Creators program, emphasizing partnership pedagogies to address awarding gaps in higher education.
