Usame Yakutcan is a Lecturer in Operational Research at the Hertfordshire Business School, University of Hertfordshire. He holds a PhD in Operational Research, alongside a BSc in Industrial Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Management. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), he specializes in healthcare modeling, discrete event simulation, and decision support systems. His work focuses on improving patient flow and disease pathways for conditions like COPD, HIV, and CVD.
