Prof. Ursula Wurstbauer is a Full Professor (W3) for Experimental Solid State Physics and Managing Director of the Institute of Physics at the University of Münster. She leads the Nanoelectronics Group and holds a Habilitation in Experimental Physics from TU Munich. Her research focuses on 2D materials, van der Waals heterostructures, and quantum phenomena in nanoscale systems. She has held visiting professorships and postdoctoral fellowships at Columbia University and the University of Hamburg.
