Ursula Nopp-Mayr

Assoc. Prof. Ursula Nopp-Mayr is a faculty member at the Institute of Wildlife Biology and Game Management, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), within the Department of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity. Her career spans roles including Head of the Institute (2019–2020) and Deputy Head (2013–2018), with a focus on wildlife ecology, habitat modeling, and population genetics.

• Research Interests: Wildlife-forest interactions, genetic differentiation in alpine species, microplastic contamination in aquatic ecosystems, and decision-support systems for climate-adapted forest management.
