Education:
- Doctoral Candidate in Human-Centered Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology
Research Interests: Ehsan pioneers HCXAI to ensure marginalized groups are not adversely affected by opaque AI systems. His work bridges technical AI explainability with sociotechnical impacts, advocating for inclusive and transparent AI design. He explores how AI errors can be communicated effectively to users to build trust. The Algorithmic Imprint project expands accountability by studying harms arising after AI systems are decommissioned.
Awards:
- ACM CHI Award
- HCII Award
- AAAI AIES Award
Labs/Initiatives: Leads the Algorithmic Imprint project at Berkman Klein Center, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advance Responsible AI frameworks. Affiliated with Data & Society for sociotechnical research.
