Umran Inan is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, serving as Director of the VLF Group and STAR Laboratory. He concurrently serves as President of Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. His research focuses on plasma physics, electromagnetic waves, and space physics, with notable contributions to studies of ionospheric phenomena and satellite data analysis.
