Dr Umair Ghori is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Bond University, Australia. His research focuses on international trade, business, and investment laws, particularly from the perspective of developing countries and Least Developed Countries (LDCs). He has authored monographs on textiles and clothing trade (2012) and export restrictions (2023), and served as lead editor for Globalisation in Transition: Human and Economic Perspectives (2023). Previously, he taught at the University of New South Wales (2006-2010).

He has supervised non-HDR students on legal research projects and contributed to journals like Bond Law Review (Editor, 2014-2018). His expertise aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in education and economic development.
