Dr. Ulrike Ruprecht is a Project PostDoc in the Department of Environment & Biodiversity at the University of Salzburg, affiliated with the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences. Her research focuses on lichens and biological soil crusts in Austria, Antarctica, subantarctic South America, and Arctic regions.
- Technical Expertise: Phylogenetics, niche modeling, NGS, PCR, HPLC, microscopy, and cryomicrotome sectioning
- Key Projects: Lichen holobiome diversity (FWF 2022-2026), conservation of red-listed lichens (2015-2027), Antarctic lichen ecology (FWF 2014-2019), and climate change bioindication studies (2016-2018)
