Klaus Nowotny is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Salzburg and Senior Economist at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) in Vienna. His research focuses on microeconometric analyses of international migration, cross-border commuting, and regional economic dynamics. He holds a doctorate from the University of Innsbruck (2006) and habilitation from the University of Salzburg (2017).
