Ulf Schneider

Prof. Dr. med. Ulf Schneider is an Adjunct Professor for Clinical Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, University of Lucerne. He has served as head of the Department of Neurosurgery at LUKS (Luzerner Kantonsspital) since 2022. He earned his doctorate from the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University in 2007 and completed his habilitation at the Medical Faculty of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2016. Prior to joining LUKS, he worked at Charité in Berlin, Germany's most renowned neurosurgical clinic, where he headed one of its three locations.

His clinical expertise spans neuro-oncology, with a focus on cranial tumor surgery, skull base surgery, epilepsy surgery, and vascular neurosurgery.
