Ujju Aggarwal is Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Experiential Learning at The New School, where she coordinates the Self-Directed Learning Program. Her research examines how public education systems intersect with urban space, racial inequality, and state power. Aggarwal's book 'Unsettling Choice' analyzes marketization in public education through ethnographic research in New York City.
