Dr. Uday Narayan Yadav is a Research Fellow at the Australian National University (ANU), affiliated with the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health and the National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research. He holds a PhD in Population Health from the University of New South Wales and an MPH in Epidemiology from Manipal University, India.
Research Interests: Dr. Yadav specializes in Chronic Disease Implementation Science, focusing on community and primary care approaches to prevent and manage chronic diseases, particularly among Indigenous and disadvantaged populations. His work spans co-design, health equity, and evidence-based policy. He has conducted fieldwork in Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Australia.
Recent Publications: His articles highlight trends in non-communicable disease (NCD) management, digital health interventions, COVID-19 impacts on refugee populations, and vaccine equity in low-resource settings. Notable works include analyses of social prescribing, malnutrition protocols, and policy engagement models.
