Tzu Yang Loh

Dr. Tzu Yang Loh is Assistant Professor (Practice-track) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS. With PhD in Maritime Engineering from University of Tasmania, his research applies fuzzy logic and system dynamics to risk analysis in autonomous systems, industrial safety, and energy infrastructure.

His work develops hybrid methodologies for risk assessment of autonomous underwater vehicles, hydrogen energy systems, and industrial operations. Current projects include safety evaluations of autonomous vehicles and comparative studies of hydrogen/ammonia energy storage with atmospheric risk considerations, contributing to regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies.
