Tyson A. Luneau is an Assistant Professor of History at SUNY Cortland, specializing in modern North Africa, France, and environmental history. He holds a PhD, MA, and BA in History from University at Albany and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, respectively. His research focuses on colonial environmental knowledge, urbanism, and technology, particularly examining French colonial projects in North Africa through archival and fieldwork across France and the Maghreb.
