Tyler Perrachione

Tyler Perrachione is an Associate Professor at the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences within Sargent College at Boston University. He holds affiliations with the Department of Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on developmental disorders of language and reading, human voice recognition, and the neural mechanisms underlying auditory perception and plasticity. He leads the Communication Neuroscience Research Laboratory, exploring speech processing efficiency, talker adaptation, and atypical neurodevelopment in conditions like autism and dyslexia.

Education: Ph.D. in Neuroscience (MIT), M.A. and B.A. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science (Northwestern University).
