Tyler Brown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University and Director of the Center for Orthopaedic and Biomechanics Research. His research focuses on the impact of body-borne load on soldier performance and injury risk. He received his Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Health and Human Development from Montana State University, and a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Puget Sound. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
