Tuğba Kuru

Res.Asst.Dr. Tuğba Kuru is a Researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering, Istanbul Technical University. She completed her PhD in Structural Engineering (DR) at Istanbul Technical University (2018-2025) and holds a Master's in Structural Engineering (2015-2018) and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (2010-2015) from the same institution. She briefly worked as a Researcher at the University of Virginia (2022-2023) and has been a Research Assistant at Istanbul Technical University since 2016.

Research Focus: Her expertise spans Building Materials, Solid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Theory of Elasticity, and Experimental Mechanics. Her work integrates theoretical and experimental approaches to advance structural engineering solutions.
