Tuser Biswas is an academic affiliated with the University of Borås, holding a doctoral degree in Textile Material Technology. He is part of the Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business and the Department of Textile Technology. His work focuses on sustainable textile production, functionalization of fibers using chemical and biological methods, and circular production systems. He teaches courses in Product Development, Smart Textiles, Textile Chemistry, and Circular Textiles.
Dr. Biswas has a background in industry, having worked in textile research, product development, and factory-level production. His research projects include collaborations with Svenska Cellulosa AB, Vinnova, and the EU (DESTEX project). He has received awards such as the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship, Best Thesis award (Bo Rydin Foundation), and the Global Swede award from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
