Turid Borgen is an Associate Professor in Television Journalism/Production at the University of Stavanger, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Department of Media and Social Studies. She holds a PhD in Journalism from Stockholm University and has served as a former vice-dean for education and dean at her faculty. Prior to academia, Borgen worked extensively in the media industry, including roles as a journalist and editor at NRK Rogaland.
- Research Interests: Journalism, Media Management/Editor Role, Media Structures, Documentary Filmmaking, and Ethics in Documentary (which she leads as a research group).
