Tsu-Hsin Howe is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy at New York University’s Steinhardt School. Her research focuses on motor behaviors in children at high-risk for developmental delays, particularly feeding-related issues. She has over 20 years of clinical experience as a pediatric specialist at Mount Sinai Medical Center, treating infants with prematurity, congenital heart disease, and neurological deficits.
Dr. Howe teaches courses on pediatric occupational therapy, evidence-based practice, and theoretical frameworks. She is certified in neuro-developmental treatment and the Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment Scale. Her work bridges clinical practice with research, emphasizing culturally sensitive interventions and innovative rehabilitation technologies like virtual reality systems for stroke recovery.
