Trung Tran

Trung Tran is a Senior Lecturer in French Literature and 16th-17th Century Arts at University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès since 2020. He previously held Lecturer positions at Paul Valéry-Montpellier III University (2005-2020) and various academic roles in Paris-Sorbonne and Créteil Academy. His research focuses on French Renaissance Literature, particularly the interplay between Literature and Illustration, Emblem Books, and Theories of the 'Figure' in 16th-century texts.

• Doctorate in French Language and Literature (Paris-Sorbonne, 2004)

His scholarly work examines iconotextual dynamics, auctorial authority, and visual hermeneutics in Renaissance publications. Recent publications analyze Fortuna symbolism, prudentia ethics, and text-image relationships in emblematic literature. He has served on national examination committees for Agrégation and CAPES competitions in Modern and Classical Letters.
