Troy D. Kish

Troy D. Kish is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy, Long Island University. He holds a Pharm.D. from the University of Toledo and is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS). Dr. Kish practices at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, where he focuses on Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Kish’s research interests center on the treatment of C. difficile infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and management of cirrhosis. His work spans clinical pharmacology, antimicrobial stewardship, and geriatric pharmacotherapy. He has actively presented at national conferences, including the Eastern States Pharmacy Conference and ASHP Midyear Conference, with a focus on optimizing treatment regimens for infectious diseases and chronic conditions.

Dr. Kish has contributed to peer-reviewed journals such as Am J Ther and Clin Ther, covering topics like antimicrobial efficacy, drug-induced complications, and targeted therapies. His recent articles highlight advancements in pain management, adverse drug reactions, and geriatric care.
