Tricia Wright

Tricia Wright, MD is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She holds a BS from Stanford University, an MD from the University of Michigan, and an MS in Clinical Research from the University of Hawaii. Her research focuses on substance use disorders in pregnancy, maternal mortality, and reproductive health policy. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and was honored as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Society of Addiction Medicine in 2019. Her work bridges clinical care, public health, and ethical considerations in addressing opioid use and addiction among pregnant and postpartum individuals.
