Tricia Spearin

Tricia Spearin is an Assistant Professor of Dental Health at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), teaching in dental hygiene, dental assisting, and expanded functions dental assisting programs across didactic, online, laboratory, and clinical modes. She holds certifications as a Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant, and Registered Dental Hygienist, with a doctoral degree in Health Professions Education from ATSU.

Her research focuses on instructional strategies and challenges in teledentistry implementation, published in the Journal of Dental Education (2024).
