Trevor Almeida

Dr. Trevor Almeida is a Lecturer in Materials and Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Glasgow's School of Physics and Astronomy. His research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and functional properties of nanostructured materials, with particular expertise in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques such as Lorentz microscopy and off-axis electron holography. He investigates magnetic nanostructures, including their magnetization dynamics under thermal, electrical, and chemical stimuli. Almeida's work spans nanomagnetism, skyrmion spin textures, and advanced TEM imaging of magnetic domain configurations.

His research interests include developing novel nanomaterials for applications in spintronics, data storage, and energy storage.
