Tran Nguyen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management, Economics, & Policy at the School of Public Health, Augusta University. She holds a DPH and MPH in Public Health and a BS in Medical Technology, with professional certifications in clinical laboratory science. Her academic work spans research, teaching, and extensive service at institutional and professional levels.

Her research focuses on health disparities, health equity, immigrant health, chronic disease screening, and health information technology. Her recent publications examine diabetes self-management, telehealth equity, adolescent bullying, and health IT adoption using national datasets like NHANES and YRBSS. These works reflect a strong emphasis on behavioral models, health equity, and data-driven public health interventions.
