Tramayne Michelle Butler-DeLong is an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University, teaching since 2014. She holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2006), with a BA in Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1999, summa cum laude). Her research focuses on racial and ethnic identity dynamics between African Americans and Kenyan immigrants in Chicago, supported by grants from SSRC and NSF. She also explores globalization, media, and cross-cultural approaches to health/wellness.
