Dr Tracy Washington is a Senior Lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning at Queensland University of Technology's (QUT) School of Architecture & Built Environment, part of the Faculty of Engineering. Her research focuses on the intersection of built environments and health outcomes, particularly active transport, park design, and aging populations. She holds a PhD from Arizona State University and an MA from California State University.
Key research interests include e-bike adoption, cycling infrastructure, and intergenerational park design. She has led projects like the ARC Linkage grant evaluating park design in Moreton Bay and studies on e-bike use in workplaces.
