Tracy Wallis

Tracy Wallis serves as Head of Department for Secondary and Post-compulsory Education at the University of Worcester and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, bringing extensive experience in teacher training through partnerships, student experience management, and course leadership within the Initial Teacher Training and Education (ITTE) sector.

Education:

• B.Ed in Primary Education with English from Newman College
• MA in Education
• Professional Doctorate in Education

Her research focuses on teacher education across primary, secondary, and post-compulsory education sectors, with significant contributions to educational leadership and school governance. This expertise is amplified by her practical experience as an active school governor and Chair of Governors at an outstanding Sandwell primary school, alongside presentations at national and international conferences.

Advising: Dr Wallis has successfully supervised numerous MA students through their dissertation processes within the MA Education programme.
