Tracy Vaillancourt is a Full Professor and Canada Research Chair in Mental Health and Violence Prevention in Schools at the University of Ottawa. She holds cross-appointments in Clinical Psychology and the School of Psychology, while also serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for International Governance. Her research spans social neuroscience, bullying, child mental health, and autism spectrum disorder.
- Education: Ph.D. in Educational and Counselling Psychology (University of British Columbia); Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Developmental Psychology (University of Montreal/Laval University) and Applied Child Psychology (McGill University)
Her work focuses on bullying etiology, neurobiology of peer victimization, and pandemic impacts on youth mental health. Current funding includes
