Tracy L. Van Oss is a Professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator in Quinnipiac University's Department of Occupational Therapy within the College of Health Sciences. Her roles include teaching across academic levels and coordinating experiential learning programs. She holds advanced degrees including a Doctor of Health Science (Nova Southeastern University) and MPH (Southern Connecticut State University).
Dr. Van Oss specializes in community health education, simulation-based learning, and occupational therapy interventions for chronic conditions. Key research interests include health promotion through photovoice methodologies, interprofessional education, and addressing social determinants of health. She has pioneered initiatives to engage students in global health projects, notably in Barbados, earning the 2020 AOTA International Service Award.
