Dr. Tracy L. Scott is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Sociology at Emory University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Princeton University, an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MA in Sociology from Princeton, and an AB in Economics from Stanford University. Her research focuses on culture, gender, and work, particularly exploring how cultural norms influence life decisions and work practices. She directs the Moonshot Era Project, preserving primary sources from the Apollo missions to study their sociocultural context. Notable projects include the Apollo 15 Learning Hub and the Moonshot Astronaut Families research initiative.
