Angela Dixon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Emory University, specializing in social stratification and health disparities. Her research examines the socioeconomic and health consequences of bereavement, with a focus on Black-White mortality disparities. She holds a PhD in Sociology and Demography from Princeton University (2018), an MA in Sociology (2015), and a BS in Psychology and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2011).
