Dr. Tracy Greer is a Professor of Psychology at The University of Texas at Arlington, serving as Associate Chair. She holds a PhD in Cognition and Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas (2002) and advanced degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her research focuses on depression biomarkers, exercise interventions, and clinical psychopharmacology, with over 40 publications. She leads NIH-funded studies on depression mechanisms, wearable data in pain management, and mental health disparities. Awardees include the NIH Loan Repayment Program (2010) and NARSAD Young Investigator Award (2004). She advises ~20 graduate and undergraduate students on research projects in mental health, epilepsy, and chronic pain. Dr. Greer chairs the Department Promotion Committee and serves on IRB and university committees. Her work bridges clinical neuroscience and public health, emphasizing translational applications.
