Tracy E Rickman

Dr. Tracy E Rickman is an Instructor and Coordinator of the Public Administration BAAS Program at Tarleton State University in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Public Administration. With a D.P.A. from the University of LaVerne, he has extensive administrative experience in fire technology programs and homeland security education.

His research focuses on public administration, emergency management, and homeland security. Recent publications examine the intersection of public safety, crisis management, and policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He received the 2020 Hayward Award for educational excellence and has secured over $500,000 in grant funding for fire technology and EMT programs. As coordinator, he oversees program development and community partnerships.
