معرفی
Tracy Ainsworth is a Senior Research Fellow at James Cook University, focusing on coral reef ecosystems and their responses to environmental stressors. She has held roles as ARC Super Science Fellow (2012-2015) and ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2008-2012). Her research examines host-microbe interactions, stress biology, and climate change impacts on coral physiology and symbiosis.
- Affiliations: ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies (2005-2022)
- Research Focus: Coral bleaching mechanisms, microbial ecology, disease dynamics, and ecosystem resilience
Key research areas include cellular responses to thermal stress, symbiotic relationships, and coral regeneration. Her work bridges molecular biology and ecological processes to understand reef resilience in changing environments.
Selected publications highlight contributions to coral symbiosis, microbiome dynamics, and disease pathology. Notable collaborations include studies on white syndromes, coral transplantation effects, and viral influences in bleaching events.
