Tracey Sempowicz is a Lecturer in Education at the University of the Sunshine Coast, specializing in Inclusive Education. Her work focuses on trauma-informed practices, teacher agency, and supporting students from complex trauma backgrounds, particularly intercountry adoptees. Previously, she served as a Head of Department across five Queensland secondary schools for 25 years and taught at Queensland University of Technology for a decade, where she attained HEA Senior Fellow accreditation and now mentors HEA aspirants.

She also contributes to preservice teacher training, emphasizing mentorship and reflective practice in developing effective classroom management techniques.
