Dr. Tracey Dodd is an academic researcher and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, affiliated with the Adelaide Business School within the University of Adelaide's Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics. She holds a PhD from the University of South Australia (2017) and a Master of Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University (2009). With two decades of project management experience, she has overseen intergovernmental reforms valued at $400M and secured over $16M in research funding.
Her research focuses on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, spanning:
- Sustainability transitions in energy and transportation systems
- Social equity in renewable energy adoption and policy implementation
- Corporate governance challenges including modern slavery in supply chains
- Housing policy reforms and tenant protections
Dr. Dodd's recent publications demonstrate strong interdisciplinary engagement across energy policy, corporate governance, and social justice. Her work consistently addresses market transitions, stakeholder management in sustainability contexts, and policy frameworks for vulnerable populations. Research trends show increasing focus on climate justice mechanisms, ethical supply chains, and multidimensional approaches to ESG challenges.
As founder/CEO of Sustainable Innovation, she advises government agencies and non-profits on strategic planning. She has directed projects for Australian federal/state governments, social housing providers, and Indigenous organizations, applying academic research to real-world policy challenges.
