Torunn Hatlen Nøst

Torunn Hatlen Nøst is Associate Professor at the Department of Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Her research focuses on chronic pain management, eHealth solutions (particularly patient portals), and self-management interventions. Current projects examine interdisciplinary pain center collaboration, electronic patient-reported outcomes in trauma, and digital sharing of clinical notes in adolescent mental healthcare.

Additional research areas include opioid prescription patterns, academic detailing interventions for prescribing physicians, and long-term fitness center engagement. She leads studies on implementation of nursing diagnostics in EHR systems and patient empowerment strategies.
