Prof. Torsten Hiltmann is a Professor for Digital History at Humboldt University of Berlin (since 2020) and previously held roles such as Professor for Digital Humanities in History and Cultural Studies at the University of Münster (2013–2020). He specializes in Medieval History, Digital Humanities, and Heraldry, with a focus on the cultural and social dimensions of heraldic communication in medieval Europe. His research integrates digital methods, cultural history, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
